One of the most popular HLTV features is a ranking of the top CS:GO players worldwide, based on a complex rating system only HTLV knows. Have you ever wondered what country gave us the most top tiers players?
Using data from HLTV.org's player rankings, we have created a bar chart that shows the distribution of the best players across different countries. As expected, we see Denmark as a country that produced the most HLTV top players. The United States is the second, these two countries have 71 and 68 players, respectively.
Brazil, which is often considered to be a powerhouse in CS:GO, comes in third place with 59 players. Poland and Sweden follow closely behind with 49 and 46 players, respectively.
When we look at the rest of the countries, we can see a significant drop-off in the number of players. Australia, France, Ukraine, and Finland all have around 20-30 players each, while Bulgaria, Germany, and China have fewer than 25 players each.
